Prime Time study sheets should be turned in to Mr. Woodard at the end of Prime Time today or at the latest by lunch today.

There is a Get Well card in Ms. Wendy’s office for one of our students. Please, everyone come down and sign the card to wish Kyle well. It will mean a lot to him! The card will be here till the end of the day today.

There is a MANDATORY Senior Class meeting today at Prime Time in the New Gym. ALL Seniors MUST attend this meeting or see Mr. Cody is you cannot make it.

Voting for Homecoming King and Queen will take place in Second Block today. Please excuse the interruption when a Student Council member comes in to your class to take and tally the votes. We appreciate your flexibility and your patience!



Activity Announcements:
Got burgers? This Friday, our Food Service is planning their annual Homecoming BBQ at Memorial Park for everyone and anyone before the parade begins at 12:00 p.m. Students may purchase their tickets before Thursday from Ms. Wendy in her office. The cost for the BBQ is $2.25. Thursday and Friday tickets may be purchased in Ms. Penman’s office.

Savelli’s, our local pizzeria, is looking for a hostess to work 10 – 15 hours per week. If interested, see Misty at Savelli’s.

A big Congrats to the mighty Manitou Girls Cross Country team for winning the Kiowa Blue Feather Ranch Invitational. Rough and tumble Jenny Peek won the race, while Freshman extraordinaire Courtney Shaw placed 4th, and The sophomore star Shelby Carpenter placed 7th. Congratulations to the crafty veteran boys cross country team for placing 4th out of 12 teams! Senior Homecoming King Nominee Jesse Struble placed a respectable 7th. Shoeless Zach Morriss and Courtney Shaw won special awards for being the muddiest runners on the course.




COUNSELING ANNOUNCEMENTS:
SENIORS – you can apply for the first scholarship of the year! Come to the counseling office to get the web address for the COCA COLA scholarship.





Tomorrow’s Homecoming Activities include: The dress up theme is Class Color Day and Toga Day for Seniors. The Prime Time activity is a Tug of War.

* Duty Schedule for today: Swanson, Rich, Person, Horner



All 9th, 10th, and 11th graders who still have one or more grades that are below a C- must attend Required Prime Time Study today and tomorrow unless the grade is raised to a C- or better. If the grade is raised to at least a C-, have the teacher write that on the sign-off sheet and return right away to Mr. Woodard.

Don’t forget Staff and Students – During third block today, members of our Senior Class will be tagging cars out in the parking lot. If you do NOT want your car tagged, please display a big NO clearly on the dashboard before third block, otherwise, you will become a member of the “09 crew!

There is a meeting today at lunch in Mr. Dallas’ room for everyone planning on attending the Outdoor Recreation Club Hut trip in November. You must be present at the meeting to attend the hut trip in November.
