Teachers: Powerschool is down – therefore we would like you to send the attendance down via paper, or call it in before the end of the block. Thank you.


Activity Announcements:
Anyone interested in driving times over Christmas Break should see Mr. Quarry asap. Also, if you are in need of a permit or driving test, please see Mr. Quarry.

Reminder to all boys going out for basketball: All paperwork must be turned in and a pass to practice given to Coach Vecchio before you can practice today.

In collaboration with Manitou Springs School District 14, the BAC is providing hands-on art classes taught by working artists. In addition to children having FUN, doing a variety of art modalities, each instructor will integrate core content disciplines such as literacy, science, and math. Classes will be offered every month on Early Release Wednesdays. Manitou Springs School District is going to bus students to the BAC. A big thank you to them. Parents are responsible for picking up their child.

POPS members: POPS will meet early during the early release day today. It will still be block 3, but the time for POPS will be 9:50 instead of 11:50! See you there!

Senior Committee Meeting tomorrow at Prime Time. Come with ideas to raise more money

There is an SAT study book available for 10 dollars. Please see Talisha Bell if interested.

Football Players: Uniform collection will be immediately after school today at 11:30 a.m. in the locker room.

Our Winter Sports Season officially begins today! Good luck to our Wrestlers, Boys and Girls Basketballers, and Swimmers.




COUNSELING ANNOUNCEMENTS:
All Key Clubbers that have not gotten your pizza forms please pick up your forms from Talisha Bell or from Mr. Johnston. Don’t forget that all forms are due back to Talisha by Wednesday, November 19th.

There are schedules and registration packets available in the counseling office for any Junior or Senior that is interested in taking a Post Secondary Options class at Pikes Peak Community College or UCCS next semester.

SENIORS: the representative from Colorado State University will be available in the counseling office during Prime Time on Friday. All students are welcome to attend.

Tomorrow is an Early Release day. Students get out at 11:30 a.m. The bulletin board outside of Mrs. Guido’s office has the schedule for tomorrow. Check it out before you leave today.

A middle school parent is looking for a tutor for their son on varying subjects for a couple of afternoons a week. If you are in need of some community service hours or just want to feel good about helping someone out in need, please see Ms Wendy for more information.

Today on the crest at Prime Time, the guitar class will be performing a few of the songs from their upcoming concert. The guitar class concert is scheduled for next week, Tuesday, November 18 at Prime Time in the Media Center.

SENIORS: there will be two college visits this week - - today Pikes Peak Community College will be in the counseling office during Prime Time and on Friday CSU will be here. All students are welcome to attend.

This Wednesday, November 12 is an Early Release day. Students get out at 11:30 a.m. Mark your planners and be prepared for a different schedule!

A middle school parent is looking for a tutor for their son on varying subjects for a couple of afternoons a week. If you are in need of some community service hours or just want to feel good about helping someone in need out, please see Ms Wendy for more information. This help is needed asap.

Congratulations to Taylor Wilkinson for being selected to the CCGS and CHSCA All State teams. She will play Sunday Novemeber 16th at Broomfield High School at 12:30 p.m.
