Activity Announcements:
There will be a meeting for all Boys interested in Track and Field in Room 19 at Prime Time today!

Come join us for Viernes Cultural tonight. It's a fundraiser for schools in Ecuador that will feature live music, magic, and fun by our very own students and staff. Entrance is $20 and the event will be held at La Baugette on Colorado Ave from 6:30 - 9:00.
Come join the party!

This evening’s performance of the student directed plays has been changed from 7 pm to 6 pm in the Media Center. Come and support your peers.

FCA is Monday night at 7:30 p.m. at Jenny Peek’s house. If anyone needs a ride, see Jenny or Ale or Abby.

Seniors! Running out of time and ideas for your college plans? Today is CSU Pueblo Application Day. Come to the Counseling Office at Prime Time, fill out a FREE application (save $25!) and get a decision on the spot! What a deal! This is a great way to know you have a plan for next year!

Any student interested in the Area Vocational Program at PPCC next year, see Mr. Johnston to sign up.

High Trails Camp Counselor Applications are now available in the counseling office! Juniors and seniors, see Mrs. Penman if you want an application. Applications are due on February 3rd.

Seniors – There are several new scholarship applications now in, including the KIWANIS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP. Come check them out.







And Ms. Wendy’s joke of the day is: An Eskimo got so cold while paddling his kayak that he built a fire to warm himself up. Naturally, the kayak sank, and he had to swim to shore in the icy waters. This only goes to show that you can't have your kayak and heat it, too.

Turn in your overdue to library books as soon as possible to avoid detention.

Approximately 20 students still have not returned overdue library books. Mr. Elsberry spoke to you last week and told you to return the book by today or serve the detention. So just git'er done!

There is a brief faculty meeting today at lunch in the Media Center. The Media Center will be closed at lunch today.

Students: Want an opportunity to get your homework done before you leave school? Starting today, all students are invited to go to Afterschool Study Center from 3 – 3:40 p.m. Teachers will be on hand if you have any questions. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend! The Afterschool Study Center will be in Mrs. Swanson’s room, Room 18.

Any student not using his or her locker please go see Mrs. Penman in the Guidance office. We have several new students and they need lockers.



Activity Announcements:
FCA will meet tonight at Jenny Peek’s house. Anyone that is interested should come. You can get directions in Coach O’Connor’s room.

There is a Drama Club meeting today at lunch in Mrs. Swanson’s room.

Girls Soccer Open Gym tonight at 8:00 p.m.

Varsity Baseball Players: Today is the last day to get your hat order in to Mr. Quarry!
