Today will be the last day to buy Valen-lines for that special someone, so hurry quick and write a message during Prime Time for only 50¢.

Need a job? The School to Work Alliance Program will be here Wednesday, February 11 from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. in the SILC building teaching you how to build a great resume, interview with style and market yourself appropriately. For more information, see Mr. Johnston.


Activity Announcements:
The Scholarship Committee of the Pikes Peak Justice and Peace Commission is offering a $1000.00 award to any student interested in facilitating the growth, awareness and understanding of social justice and environmental activism. See Mrs. Surage if interested and would like more information.

Book club will meet today at lunch in the media center. Please bring one book that you would like to discuss so we can trade books.

This is the one you wanted!! Auditions for the musical "Grease" will be held on Monday, Feb. 9 and Tuesday Feb 10 at the district auditorium from 6-9pm. Come prepared with a short monologue and song to sing!! Grease is the word!!

Tomorrow night will be your last chance to see the one act “Amber Waves” at 7:00 p.m. at the District Aud. Admission is free – so come and support your peers in the arts.

Prospector will be selling Valenlines for 25¢ all week during Prime Time outside the front office. Write your own message for someone special and it will be published in the Prospector’s Valentine’s Day issue.



Activity Announcements:
The Scholarship Committee of the Pikes Peak Justice and Peace Commission is offering a $1000.00 award to any student interested in facilitating the growth, awareness and understanding of social justice and environmental activism. See Mrs. Surage if interested and would like more information.

Poetry slam will meet after school today in the media center. Poets please have at least one poem memorized. We will have food, prizes and we also need judges.

Book club will meet tomorrow at lunch in the media center. Please bring one book that you would like to discuss so we can trade books.

Attention all WORRRMS! There will be a brief meeting during lunch today in Mrs. Surage’s room followed by painting t-shirts after school. We need as many people as possible today after school to present money to the t-shirt design contest winners and to make the t-shirts. So come and bring your friends!
