Students: Today three candidates for the Superintendent’s position here at Manitou Springs School District will be visiting our school at 11:30 a.m. and eating lunch with you all. PLEASE display the great manners we know you have today in the halls and at lunch and make these gentlemen feel welcome in our school. Take a moment to go up and introduce yourself at lunch and thank them for being here. We appreciate your cooperation kids!
Activity Announcements:
Students going to the Soup Kitchen tomorrow, meet Ms. O’Connor at 7:10 a.m. tomorrow in the front office properly dressed.
Book club will meet today at lunch in the media center. We will talk about what everyone is reading and what book is on our next book club read!!!
Any student planning on taking the AP exams must pay and return contract to Ms O’Connor by Wednesday, March 18th.

Guys and Girls listen up! It’s Springtime and new romance is blooming. Need help finding a date? Student Council has got just the thing for you. Next Thursday, after finals, we will be having a live bidding on picnic baskets made by guys and girls we all know. Here’s the kicker – the highest bidder gets the food and a lunch date with the person who made it. Sign up with Mrs. Stoneback if you would like to make a picnic basket for next week. You get half the amount that your lunch goes for so make it a good one!

This Friday, Invisible Children will be here for a presentation during fourth block in the Old Gym. This is an incredible presentation regarding the hardships in Uganda. Africa. Staff: Please RSVP to Ms. O’Connor by the end of the day today if your class will be attending.
Ms. Wendy is collecting coffee cans, plastic or otherwise, all this week. Please bring in your empty coffee cans asap. Thank you!
Seniors: The Jostens rep will be here tomorrow to hand out announcement orders at Prime Time and lunch outside the front office.
Every Thursday during 4th block and after school there is an After School Garden Jam. Learning about planting seeds, plants, trees are just some of the fun things you will be doing. See flyers outside Ms. Wendy’s office and around the school for more info.
Don’t forget: all week this week, your National Honor Society Students will be collecting personal items for The Timmy Project Your second block teachers have a list of items, and a drop box in their classrooms. Please bring in items over the course of next week, and attempt to win this competition. The winning team will receive breakfast, served by some of your favorite teachers on Thursday, March 19th at 8:00 am.
