Lost and Found items will be taken to the homeless shelter this Friday. Please take a moment to look through everything before you leave on Friday or it will be gone, gone, gone – forever!

On Tuesday, March 31, the School to Work Alliance Program is holding a Job Fair at Prime Time in the Old Gym. Students need to bring their resumes, information and enthusiasm with them. Guys and gals, this is a fantastic opportunity, especially in these tough economic times – so plan to visit all of the vendors!

COUNSELING ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Any student interested in attending a Career Day in a health related field at Memorial Hospital should see Mr. Johnston.

If any JUNIOR is interested in the LEARNING LINK program next year at Memorial Hospital, see Mr. Johnston.

Any AVP students that do not have a final tomorrow will be expected to attend their AVP program. The bus will run at the regular time.

Just a reminder: the music you hear being played during some passing periods this week is that of one of our graduates. Here at Manitou Springs High School we like to support our students even long after they are gone, therefore we support Jenna Faber by playing her latest cd during passing periods. Thank you to the many staff members and students who have commented positively on the music and if you would like more information on Jenna’s music, please see Ms. Wendy.

Tomorrow and Friday we will be having finals – duh! Your first finals will begin at 8:40 a.m. with students being dismissed after their last finals at 12:00 noon. All students are encouraged to come to school at 7:40 a.m. each day to get extra help or to have those last minute questions answered.

Students should turn in their Prime Time sign-off sheets after Prime Time today.

This morning at Prime Time, we invite everyone to come down to the crest and enjoy some Irish dancing during Prime Time. What a wonderful way to celebrate this fine day!

Any student planning on taking the AP exams must pay and return contract to Ms O’Connor by tomorrow.

All JV Soccer players meet in Coach Barton’s room at Prime Time today.

Guys and Girls listen up! It’s Springtime and new romance is blooming. Need help finding a date? Student Council has got just the thing for you. This Thursday, after finals, we will be having a live bidding on picnic baskets made by guys and girls we all know. Here’s the kicker – the highest bidder gets the food and a lunch date with the person who made it. Sign up with Mrs. Stoneback if you would like to make a picnic basket for next week. You get half the amount that your lunch goes for so make it a good one!

Any girls interested in trying out for Cheerleading next year, there is an informational meeting today at Prime Time in Stoneback;’s room. Please attend.

Poetry slam will meet today after school in the media center. please be there as we will discuss the upcoming trip to Sierra High School to compete in their poetry slam!!!!

The Timmy Project was a big success thanks to many of you! Now, have you heard the good news? Martens class is the big winner of the free breakfast this Thursday. The following classes placed with the following points: Martens with 294 points, Wecks with 283 points, and Holladay with 213 points. Thank you to everyone who helped our NHS members by donating to the Timmy Project.
