Activity Announcements:
Have nothing to do tomorrow night? Want to spend some time with passionate people? Then come to movie night this Saturday night and next Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. in the Media Center brought to you by your PeaceJam Group. The movies going to be featured are Crash and As We Forgive. The night full of movies, pizza and fun will be free but donations to Darfur are very welcome. Join us tomorrow night for movies, pizza and fun!

Anyone interested in running for Student Council next school year, please pick up a packet from Mrs. Stoneback asap!

FCA meets Monday night at 7:00 p.m. at the McQueeney’s. Hope to see everyone there.

ALL PeaceJam members: Please attend a meeting Tuesday at lunch to prepare for advisory. If you cannot attend, please see Miss O.

WORRMS meeting tomorrow at lunch in Surage’s room.

The radio staff needs to meet in the media center today for lunch. We will be planning for the upcoming "concert on the rocks" for May 9th. We are looking for some great local talent, so please see Terry Lee or Mrs. Swinney

The radio staff is rafflling off two $40.00 tickets to the Ludacris concert. Raffle tickets are only one dollar and you can get 6 tickets for 5 dollars. All proceeds go to the radio station. Come buy a ticket in the media center and support your local station, Mustang 103.3FM. The Ludacris concert is April 16

COUNSELING ANNOUNCEMENTS:
There will be two college visits next week. All students are welcome to attend! Tuesday during Prime Time the representative from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix will be available in the counseling office, and Wednesday during Prime Time the representative from Pikes Peak Community College will be here in the counseling office.

Seniors – there are many LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP applications that you can apply for now - - come to the counseling office to check them out. Most of them are due on April 24th.

Hey bands! We know you're out there! Looking for a gig? How about a Battle of the Bands against other area high schools? If you are interested in competing and representing Manitou at this battle, see Mrs. Stoneback by tomorrow.

This is a special shout out for the poetry slam team, you girls rocked Sierra High School yesterday!!! All of the students and sponsors there were blown away by your performances.. Monterey, Dani, Lorraine, Maddie, Krista, Ariel and Sydney, all of you would make Shakespeare proud!!! Special thanks to Karen Suharski our own poetry slam coach, keep on slammin...

Staff: Your meetings will start at 12:15 pm today in the High School Media Center. Lunch is on your own.

Students: You will need to clear the building as soon as possible today at the 11:30 bell. All hallways must be cleared out so that our meetings and classes can take place without interruption. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Juniors! Tomorrow at 8:55 a.m., you will be completing career and demographic information on your test folders for the ACT exam coming up on Wednesday, April 22. Room numbers will be posted outside the counseling and main office doors. You will receive a test guide and the practice ACT test you took last October at this time. It is very important that all Juniors be at school tomorrow!

There is a mandatory Freshmen/Sophomore class meeting today at Prime Time in the New Gym.

Don’t Forget we have an Early Release. ALL students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m.

Report cards will be handed out today at Prime Time in your advisories. Please report to your advisory today at Prime Time. Freshmen and Sophomores will report after your meeting.

The poetry slam team will compete with Sierra High School on Wed. We will have a meeting after school in the media center on Tuesday for planning. Everyone planning on performing needs to be there.
