Activity Announcements:
There will be an important Swim meeting today at Prime Time in the front conference room for all girls interested in Swimming next year.

Book club will meet today in the media center for lunch. We will discuss the upcoming edible book contest so be there if you are hungry for a good read!!!!!!

Calling all WORRRMS members old and new – Please come to the meeting today at lunch in Mrs. Surage’s room.

Student Council applications are due at 3:00 today. Hand everything in to Mrs. Stoneback. If you are missing a piece of the application, you may be disqualified from running for a position.

COUNSELING ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Seniors –There is one more local scholarship that was just added, it is due next Tuesday, April 28th. Come get an application. If you are going into education or any related field that works with children, see Mrs. Penman to get an application for the Manitou Springs Education Foundation scholarship. Remember to turn in all the applications that are due TODAY!!

Monday during Prime Time there will be a representative available from SIMPSON COLLEGE in IOWA. Come to the counseling office if you are interested.

Activity Announcements:
There will be an important Swim meeting today at Prime Time in the front conference room for all girls interested in Swimming next year.

Book club will meet Friday in the media center for lunch. We will discuss the upcoming edible book contest so be there if you are hungry for a good read!!!!!!

Those classes that have signed up for the play during 4th block, please try and get to the elementary school as soon as possible. We want to try and start at 1:35. Please do not enter the front door but go around to the back. Questions contact Mrs. Swinney

WORRRMS is having a picnic lunch today in honor of Earth Day! Don’t drive your car today – instead everyone grab a school lunch and head out to the track field and enjoy the warm sunshine, food, friends and fun! There will be live music, Frisbee and all kinds of fun things to do! Save Mother Earth and join the fun!

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR TUESDAY, APRIL 21

*Duty Schedule for today: Pavey, Martens, Garlow, Hegg; Prime Time – Quarry
Afterschool Study Center - Garlow


We will be honoring our Day of Silence today. Those who wish to participate will take a vow of silence for the entire school. Please remember to wear white t-shirts as a way to see who is taking the vow of silence and to symbolize the unity for a day without hate. For safety or educational purposes, students or staff may need to break the silence or choose not to participate. At the end of the day, those who have participated in the event will be released a few minutes early before the bell to the commons to break the silence together.

Just a reminder that Seniors will be expected to attend their AVP classes tomorrow. The bus will leave at the regular time.

WORRRMS is having a picnic on Thursday at lunch for the entire school to honor Earth Day. So instead of going out to lunch, eat lunch on the field and enjoy live music. Free food to the earl birds.

JUNIORS: The ACT exam is TOMORROW. Room assignments are posted outside of the main office and counseling office. Please bring 2 or 3 SHARPENED #2 pencils, a calculator, and a photo ID for the test. No cell phones will be allowed in the classroom. Testing will start promptly at 7:40. Attendance is mandatory. See you there!
